We are a passionate Bengal Breeder dedicated to healthy, beautiful kittens in Northwest Ohio.

We were not always the best Bengal breeder in Ohio, and in fact, we did not expect to be a breeder at all until we had our first Bengal. For years, our family enjoyed a quiet life in the country, and cats were a constant at home. Our barn cat was a family favorite, and when he passed after a long life, we knew we needed another cat to complete our family. Well, it was a Bengal, and when we say life has a funny way of working out, this is one of those circumstances where you just have to laugh. Let’s just say, this single cat would change the very trajectory of our lives, and NW Bengals was born. 

Our first breeding couple were a gorgeous King and Queen that spawned our entire lineage. They were great cats and had a few successful litters that went to our very first clients. We learned a great deal from those first few litters, and it clearly showed us what we needed to do to ensure that our kittens had the pedigree we wanted. Bengals are amazing cats, and it really starts with us, the breeders, to ensure that the kittens are used to being handled and can interact with humans and animals alike. 

Today, we are proud to have two amazing Kings (Duke and Ghost) and six stunning Queens (Cloud, Denise, Nimbus, Lana, Mist and Storm) who are capable of producing almost any color of Bengal across the spectrum. Our breeding pairs are kept in perfect health and are routinely tested for HCM, PK Def, PRA-b, FIV, FeLV, and internal parasites to ensure that they are not only healthy but also do not pass any genetic defects down their bloodline. 

As a TICA-certified breeder, we are proud to deliver kittens and cats that not only meet the breed standard but also adhere to the rigorous health standards associated with this certification. We take this seriously and only breed Kings and Queens that are capable of delivering kitties that will fall under the color and pattern standards. Much like the majority of Bengal breeders in Ohio, we breed brown, silver and snow color categories, which are the standard across the entire breeder network. However, we are also happy to breed the non-standard coloring, which includes charcoal, blue and solid black.

These non-standard kittens are still Bengals, but they are not the classic show or breeding Bengal that you may be looking for. We also have several litters that have included the Bengal shimmer, but naturally, we cannot guarantee that your specific kitten will have that genetic trait. 

It should also be noted that we take the time to ensure that our kittens are not only looking the part but are healthy as well. We work with an established community veterinarian who has been caring for our animals for years. They complete all the necessary work to ensure that the kittens receive their vaccinations, become accustomed to being handled by strangers, and undergo all the necessary blood and genetic testing to confirm that they are healthy and happy little kitties.

We will provide you with a comprehensive set of paperwork that includes the lineage of your kitty, the specific genetic testing and vaccinations that have been performed, and a care sheet that outlines all the necessary information for future appointments and vaccinations to keep your cat in good health. Additionally, we will provide a blanket and a few other extras to help your new cat adjust to its new home. We like to make the transition as easy as possible and are happy to answer any questions that you may have throughout the process and during the first few months of your cat adjusting to your place.

We are also happy to provide in-person meetings and you can even meet the Queens and Kings we have at our home. For those not in Ohio or from out of town, we are happy to provide virtual meetings and can even offer personalized delivery services for your kitty, ensuring a non-traumatic shipping experience for you and your cat, if that is your preference. Once we have met with you, we will ask for a small deposit and provide you with updates up until adoption day, where you will pay the remaining amount and take your cat home.
