A Healthy Start...

Your Bengal Kitten’s Lifelong Well-Being Begins Before They Leave Our Care.

The health, safety, and happiness of our kittens are our #1 priority. Every kitten is thoroughly examined by a licensed veterinarian and receives proper vaccinations and health screenings before going to their forever home. We proudly offer a two-year limited health guarantee against life-threatening congenital conditions, including PK deficiency, HCM, and PRA-b. We work closely with Pondview Vet Clinic to raise healthy, well-socialized kittens. Ongoing care becomes the responsibility of the new owner. Our goal is to provide not only a beautiful Bengal companion but also peace of mind through transparency, integrity, and lifelong support.

1. To the best of our knowledge, your kitten is healthy and is in a strong physical condition at the time it leaves our care. The kitten has been examined by a licensed veterinarian who has found it to be in good health. 

2. Pondview Vet Clinic has seen this kitten and worked with NWBengal to provide health evaluations, administer vaccines and check for defects. 

3. As a responsible breeder, NWBengal does it’s best to prevent your kitten from having problems. As a pet owner, you must understand that you are responsible for any veterinarian bills incurred after your kitten leaves the care of NWBengal. 

4. The buyer’s veterinarian should examine the kitten within two weeks from the date of purchase. This must be done before exposing established cats to the kitten. Buyer understands they must keep the kitten separate from all other cats/kittens for a minimum of fourteen days until they are satisfied that the kitten is in good health and the kitten meets their expectations. Buyer understands that failure to isolate the kitten makes all guarantees null and void. 

5. We do all we can to assure you of a happy, healthy kitten that meets all of your expectations, and we guarantee our kittens against life-threatening congenital defects for two (2) years. If your kitten or cat is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian to have a serious genetic defect or congenital disease that results in a life-threatening condition affecting longevity or quality of life before two (2) years of age, NWBengal will provide you with a replacement kitten. This is a limited guarantee, and NWBengal must be notified, in writing, if a congenital defect is detected. 

6. Congenital defects are limited to the following: Erythrocyte pyruvate kinase deficiency (PK def), cardiomyopathy (HCM), and progressive retinal atrophy of the eyes (PRA-b) 

7. If a claim for any of the above-referenced congenital defects is made, written verification from a qualified, licensed veterinarian must be provided to NWBengal with a description of the kitten's congenital defect and their opinion as to the seriousness of the defect. In the event of death, a qualified licensed veterinarian must perform a necropsy and such report be provided to NWBengal, stating that the above-described kitten died of a fatal congenital defect (as mentioned above), and was untreatable. NWBengal reserves the right to have the kitten re-inspected by NWBengal’s veterinarian for confirmation of the defect before replacing the kitten. In this event, the kitten will be replaced with a comparable replacement when one becomes available. 

8. Buyer understands and agrees that the two (2) year congenital health guarantee does not cover any condition stemming from the Buyer's negligence, accidents, or illnesses, while in the Buyer's care. 

9. Buyer agrees that under no circumstance will they, sell, lease, or give this kitten to any shelter, research facility, pet store, or similar facility. 

10. It is up to the buyer to initiate any pet insurance program and NWBengal is not responsible for health costs incurred after buyer takes possession. 

11. NWBengal takes great pride in the health and beauty of our cats. We do our best to ensure our kittens get the finest care and consideration before they leave our home. It is our privilege to be able to share this elegant and exquisite breed of cat with you.

We are also happy to provide in-person meetings and you can even meet the Queens and Kings we have at our home. For those not in Ohio or from out of town, we are happy to provide virtual meetings and can even offer personalized delivery services for your kitty, ensuring a non-traumatic shipping experience for you and your cat, if that is your preference. Once we have met with you, we will ask for a small deposit and provide you with updates up until adoption day, where you will pay the remaining amount and take your cat home.
